Develop risk management strategies. Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies. Design ongoing training programs for employees of the business. Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies. This will be accomplished through audits, ongoing review of regulatory requirements, staff education and follow-up to create organizational systems that will enhance compliance. Responsible for development drafting of new needed program policies or SOP's, ensuring appropriate departmental review, and responding to corporate requests for policy within reasonable timelines.

General supervision is received from the Director of Covenants Administration. Manages the administrative operations for monthly Legal and Covenants Committee meetings, including, but not limited to the functions related to preparation of meeting minutes, notices of hearings and results of hearings letters, Notices of Violations, required research, etc.

Assists management and the Committees with development or revision of policies or administrative procedures; conducts orientation and training of Committee appointees.

Coordinates with outside counsel on cases that have been referred to them to file suit. Consistently reviews and audits system to ensure that documentation issued in the resale packets is current at all times; updates system with revised documents as often as required.

Ensures that the resale function is completed in its entirety by tasking the Compliance Inspectors with re-check and follow-up inspections. Coordinates with Community Outreach Manager for scheduling and execution of community inspections. Responds to inquiries from members, agents, vendors, architects, contractors, staff and others regarding Reston Association covenants- related matters. Maintains accurate records of all verbal and written, including electronic communications pertaining to properties, including data entry.

Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance, and abide by established policies and procedures.
