Loved the played back movie screens you get to access on your bottom left tool bar. Thoroughly enjoyed it will be starting squeal after this Thanks Bigfish. It has a good albeit hokey storyline, good voiceovers for characters, some challenging puzzles and in casual mode, a hint button that refreshes quickly. Once I started playing, it was hard to stop.
The HOS are plentiful and not that hard but present enough of a challenge to not use hints, graphics are great, and in playing the game, you'll be doing lots of running around from scene to scene. The game is not linear, and does not have a map, so you do need to keep some memory of what scene is located in what part of the game.

The mini-puzzles ranged from easy to difficult, but all were doable. I hate to buy a game and then two hours later it is done. This game took me several days, playing a few hours each day.
I enjoyed it so much that I immediately bought two other Mystery Trackers games without a demo, and I look forward to enjoying them as much as I did this one!
The graphics are awesome. I never play with sound, so can't express an opinion on that. The map is one of the best features. The mini games were varied and some were very hard to figure out. The information on how to play the mini games was not always enough to know exactly what was required to play. Because of this, I had to skip some of them, which kept me from winning one of the awards.
That was another neat thing about the game, the ability to earn awards based on how you played. That just added another dimension that just made the game that much more interesting. The hints were right on the spot and very detailed; I used them a lot to find out what I needed to do next, eliminating the need to go to the walk through for this information.
However, I did not need hints in the HO scenes. This game is almost perfect and I highly recommend it. This was a great game, became on of my favorites instantly. It has a great story, and its very fun.
It can be pretty challenging at times, so i recommend this after you have some experience with other hidden object games. I would compare this to Return to Ravenhearst, they are on the same level. The cutscenes are well done. I found some points just plain eerie, which is exactly what I play these games for. Overall, stunning cutscenes, on-the-edge gameplay and a creepy storyline make this a must-play!
