Thanks for your feedback. I am unable to access my email account which I hold with virgin so my email suffix is blueyonder etc. What happens is as follows. When the email application opens a a smaller window-dial up connection- appears when I hit the connect button, type in my password it tries to connect.
The resulting message reads roughly ERROR broadband network could not be established, possibly caused by in invalid value for the 'service name' field.
How can I cure this problem without taking it to some kind of computer shop as I can't afford it what with being broke and unemployed. Thank you. This thread is locked. You would have to get those from your IT department. No one here, unless they worked at the same company would know those answers.
